You know what's even more cruel

Than separating kids at the border?  It's bombing them, Laura Bush.  News flash on that, by the way.  Don't know if you were aware of that.  You know, because your husband ordered an undeclared war against the nation and people of Iraq, a 'worst in the century' type of decision wasn't backed by any reasonable American national security objective.  A war we're literally still paying for, because your husband couldn't see fit to balance a single budget during his eight years in office.  A war whose veterans - loyal almost to a fault and courageous beyond anything demanded of a 'veteran' of the Texas Air National Guard - are still receiving care for their physical and psychological wounds.  A war which destabilized an entire region and that made American troops targets of the Iranian theocratic regime's IEDs - a regime we couldn't attack because we already had our hands full, propping up a corrupt government in Iraq.

We should indeed hope that the kids being separated at the border are treated to better and more tender mercies than the more than 1,000 killed in the undeclared, unnecessary war in Iraq.

What's happening on the U.S. Southern Border is very bad, but rather than work to solve it, isn't it easier to post something online, complaining about a leader's regime you don't like?

See, I can do it too.

  3. Separating families at the border is pretty cruel. It's really kidnapping and ruins families and their children for life. If Republicans are really the political party of family values they should within their own party do something about this rather than stay silent. This is ruining families, and I should see leaders of churches protesting. Do I?
Nope! Perhaps really the Christian right should endorse the party as the no abortion party, because family values, pro-life, and all of that marketing speak really only focuses on one singular part the 'no abortion' and Republicans endorse that once you're born, you won't have health care, food if you're hungry, a good public school, and no medication when you are old. When you are a fetus, it's just too late as even your birth will cost a lot of money. Too bad.

Ah onto the Iraq war. Yup it was a lie and yup I toldjaso. What are we going to do about it? Nothing. When will war stop being a distraction from a failed domestic policy? I hate to be the troops and have to be sent in to kill when congress doesn't do their due diligence or constitutional duty to protect us from huge expense and unnecessary loss of life from all sides. Fortunate son indeed when Cadet bone spurs during his campaign promised us to get us out and he hasn't. Whatabout Obama? He said the same thing! Yup, he's to blame too! Fortunate sons indeed. Personally I love the soldiers, hate the war. Let's see if we go to Iran. I sure hope not. What a big waste of money and human life that will be. Do family values include taking your kid overseas for some unpopular war? As history guides my answer, yes they do!
